Not only does effective illumination make your business appear more attractive and visible, it increases both the safety and security of your premises, helping to reduce accidents, injury, vandalism and burglaries.

Although floodlights are intended primarily for commercial applications, they may be of interest to residential customers as well. NB Power rents floodlights with a traditional High Pressure Sodium (HPS) or Metal Halide (MH). Both send out light in a 90 degree spread. The floodlight works best when it is installed at the edge of the customers' property so that all of the light is directed onto the property.

The advantages of renting NB Power floodlights are:

• Free standard installation, maintenance and bulb replacement.
• We will provide a design, which includes: a 120 volt supply, one span of secondary wire and anchor per light.
• Repair the fixture and lamp as required with no maintenance costs.
• If the aim of the light requires adjustment, we will send a Customer Service Representative to adjust it accordingly, at no charge.
• The intensity of the projected light is measured in lumens. With a chart or a computer program, we can predict what the lighting levels (in foot-candles or lux), will be before installation.
• A monthly charge is included on your regular bill.
