The information is being collected for resourcing and summarized statistical purposes. The information collected will also be used to inform and seek/request participation in programs and services. To provide clarification, the definitions provided below originate from the Employment Equity Act as well as the provincial Equal Employment Opportunity Program. The Act includes the designated groups below, because they have faced – and continue to face – barriers to employment.
