NB Power warns customers of telephone scam


Fredericton N.B – NB Power is advising customers to be on alert for fraudulent phone calls from individuals posing as NB Power employees. NB Power has received a few reports from customers who have received calls from individuals asking customers to make urgent payments by money order to avoid having their power disconnected. 

Customers who receive calls from individuals making these claims are strongly encouraged to report the incident immediately to their local police force, the RCMP or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1- 888- 495- 8501 or
