NB Power is seeking Chemical Maintainers looking for a challenge in a dynamic company committed to excellence in the electrical utility industry. As a key member of the Chemistry department, you will be responsible for the analysis and maintenance of plant system chemistry specifications while adhering to the policies, standards, processes and procedures of the Chemistry Department and providing shift support to the station.
These positions require candidates to meet the following education, work experience and qualifications:
- Chemical Technology diploma
- Minimum 1-year experience in a Chemical laboratory
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
Due to security requirements at Canadian Nuclear facilities, the successful candidate will require a Site Access Security Clearance which includes verification of background information, references, a Criminal Record Name Check and a Canadian Security Intelligence Service security recommendation.
Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
