It is very important for us as New Brunswickers to do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

As the COVID-19 situation in New Brunswick evolves, we’ll continue to adjust and expand our services accordingly. Our Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency programs, as well as our New Home Energy Savings Program are open for new registrations. The remainder of our programs remain suspended until further notice due to the in-home nature of this work.

Storm Preparation

preparing for outages

Storms happen. With them come rain, wind, snow, lightning and sometimes power outages. While most power outages don't last long, every household should have an emergency plan, just in case.

Build a 72 hour kit that includes :

  • Water and non-perishable food
  • Manual can opener
  • Flashlights and fresh batteries
  • First aid kit
  • Battery powered radio
  • Extra keys to your car and house

Learn what else to include in your kit by reading our emergency guide “Are you prepared?” .

How else you can prepare

  • Make sure back-up heating is properly vented and in good working order.
  • Let us know if your contact information has changed or if you have medical equipment that needs electricity to run. A medical form is required for our medical list.
  • Have a corded phone or fully charged mobile phone on hand to help you check for the latest outage information.
