It is very important for us as New Brunswickers to do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

As the COVID-19 situation in New Brunswick evolves, we’ll continue to adjust and expand our services accordingly. Our Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency programs, as well as our New Home Energy Savings Program are open for new registrations. The remainder of our programs remain suspended until further notice due to the in-home nature of this work.

 

Why

All electric utilities across North America have an annual tree management program designed to ensure electricity is delivered safely and reliably to customers.

Our expert forest technicians identify necessary work areas throughout the province and use a combination of clearing methods to safely prevent trees from growing too close to power lines.

    If a tree or power pole catches fire, call 911! The operator will notify your local fire department and NB Power. Never attempt to put out a fire near a power line.
